We’re Better, Here’s Why! |
|
We know that it is not nice to brag, but...we are in business to get your business so… We’re Better... Here’s Why! Archival Digital founder, and “chief-photographer in charge” Steve Young is a “real” photographer with over 20 years color darkroom experience (over 30 years experience making fine-art quality archival silver-based enlargements). Steve offers a full range of photography services through www.sjvphotography.com, and will be specifically marketing view-camera photohraph We Prove that “Old-Dogs can indeed learn New-Tricks” Archival Digital has the equipment and expertise to get the very most out of digital photographs. We utilize calibrated computer monitors, paper specific soft-proofing and systematic techniques to ensure accurate color-balancing and density adjustments that photograph data is maintained. We even developed a scaling program to ensure that original image pixel structure is maintained. We believed that good photographs deserve to last as long as possible, so use printers with archival pigment-based inks, and select our enlargement papers based on image quality and longevity based on accelerated testing my the Wilhelm institute. Why would an older Dude like Steve Young embrace digital? Digital, like “conventional” photography requires careful technique for best results. Digital is environmentally friendly (no chemistry down the drain, and no water usage) and longer image life than “conventional” color enlargements. |
